PowerPoint add-ins

One install per machine puts the full set of RoomSum slide add-ins into PowerPoint: RS QR, RS Question (set any question number per slide) that drives participant phones, and the results wall. Re-run the installer any time to update.

  1. 1. Run the installer, then quit PowerPoint completely and reopen it.
  2. 2. In PowerPoint: Insert → Add-ins → My Add-ins — you’ll see the RoomSum slides.
  3. 3. If you received a pre-built deck, that’s it — the deck is already configured and attaches to your class’s live session automatically.
  4. 4. Building your own deck? Each slide asks for your organization, class code, and the class key from your admin page, once per deck.

Need help?

  • Slides show an empty frame: the add-ins aren’t installed on that machine — run the installer above and reopen the deck.
  • A slide says the key doesn’t match: copy the class key again from your admin page; it changes if the class is duplicated.
  • Slides print blank: open any RoomSum slide’s settings and use Show print images under Whole deck, then print or export. Restore the live view before presenting.

Note: opening a configured deck on a machine without the add-ins shows empty placeholder frames — run the installer and reopen the deck.
