Terms of Service
Version 11 · October 15, 2026
LAST UPDATED: October 15, 2026
These terms govern use of RoomSum, a product of 10/10ths Development Corporation. Creating an organization means you accept them.
THE SERVICE
We provide live Q&A and polling for training sessions: collection, AI-assisted grouping and moderation of submissions, live display, delivery of published answers, written reports and summaries of what a session or class was asked, and an optional action planner through which participants write personal action plans and receive them, with reminders, by email. Features vary by plan as described on our pricing page.
YOUR ACCOUNT AND CONTENT
You are responsible for activity under your organization, for having the right to collect what your sessions collect, and for your participants' submissions complying with law. Content you or your participants submit remains yours; you grant us the license needed to operate the service on it (storage, processing, display, delivery).
Your organization controls who joins it. Anyone you add as a member, including someone outside your company such as an independent course author, can see your session content according to the roles you give them, and you are responsible for those grants. Members may ask for additional roles; granting them is your administrators' decision.
PARTICIPANTS AND ACTION PLANS
Participants join sessions anonymously. RoomSum does not tell you who submitted a question or a poll response, and it emails published answers only to participants who asked for them and confirmed their address. Action plans belong to the people who write them: you see how many were written and a summary of the areas, dates, and commitments across them, never an individual plan or its author's contact details. If we turn on the action item download for your organization, your administrators, and the people who are sent a session's action plans email, can also download the wording of the action items from that session's plans, as one list without names, contact details, steps, notes, or dates. Emails to participants and plan authors are sent by RoomSum on your organization's behalf and in its name, from an address at roomsum.com, and every answer email carries an unsubscribe link. You are responsible for the content of the answers you publish.
SHARING A CLASS
Sharing a class sends a copy of its questions and settings to the organization you name. Once that organization accepts it, the copy is theirs to edit and run, and it is not linked back to yours; later changes on either side do not affect the other. Session content, participant data, answers, and action plans are never included in a shared class.
ACCEPTABLE USE
No unlawful content, no harassment, no attempts to probe or disrupt the service or other organizations' data, no resale without our agreement.
BILLING
Paid plans bill in advance (monthly or annually) through Stripe. Add-ons such as Action Planning and additional facilitator seats are billed together with your plan. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel any time from your admin page; cancellation stops future charges and your account and content remain. We email you before every renewal.
Promotional pricing in effect when your subscription starts stays with that subscription for as long as it remains active. A subscription that lapses or is cancelled returns to the then-current pricing when it resumes. If you subscribe during a complimentary period, paid billing begins when that period ends, and anything included in the complimentary period but not in your subscription ends with it. Enterprise plans are arranged by agreement with us.
PLEASE NOTE: our pricing structure (plans, included usage, and possible credit-based options) is still being finalized and may change. Changes are announced to organization administrators by email in advance, and no change applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
DELETING CONTENT
Deleting a class moves it to a trash, where it can be restored for 30 days. After 30 days it is permanently erased along with every session, submission, and answer belonging to it, and we cannot recover it. A class's action plans, including every plan participants wrote for it and their reminders, are erased with it. An administrator can also erase a class immediately. An administrator can also permanently delete a single session, with everything in it, once it has ended and been archived; it cannot be recovered. Deactivating or archiving a class does not delete anything.
CHANGES AND AVAILABILITY
We may update the service and these terms; material changes are announced by email to organization administrators. The service is provided "as is". We work hard on availability but do not warrant uninterrupted operation. AI-generated grouping, corrections, summaries, and reports are assistive and may be imperfect; moderators control what is published, and a summary should be read before it is passed on.
LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before a claim.
TERMINATION
You may stop using the service at any time; billing management including cancellation is self-serve. We may suspend organizations that violate these terms.
